Hello everybody, Do you have times you want to be silly and read a silly story? I do! Or do you have times when you feel like you want to say, “That’s good.” or “That’s bad.” I surely do! Today’s story is just that!! It’s called That’s good! That’s Bad!, written by Margery Cuyler and illustrated by David Catrow.
Here is our P.E. / Movement activities for today. Remember, you can try any of the activities even if you are not that age!! I even try them on my own!! It’s important to exercise every day!!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Have you finished exercising for a 1 month challenge? For today, I will introduce you to reptile yoga. If you would like to do your 1month exercise challenge today as well, I would recommend you to finish your exercise first and then do this yoga to calm your body down. If you would like to just take a break from exercising and have a nice and calm Friday by doing yoga, that’s fine as well 🙂 Reptile Yoga:

Hi Everyone
The days are already getting a little warmer as we move more into spring. Make sure to remember to always drink water after doing your Flashy Feet Friday activities. Have you been trying them out on other days too? I hope you keep up your practice!
Make sure to always be careful when jumping and moving around so that you don’t hit or hurt yourself or anyone else. Always try to do the best moving and jumping you can for about 30 seconds and then take a quick break to get ready for the next activity. I can’t wait to see your fast and flashy feet!
We hope you enjoyed your P.E./Movement class for today. Continue eating well, washing your hands properly and EXERCISE!
We have Mr. Dale again. He has chosen a story of a character you may know. It’s Curious George! Do you know that clever little monkey who lives with the man with the yellow hat? Let’s see what kind of adventure he has today.
Did you like the boats that George made out of all those newspapers? You can try making a boat to play with. You don’t need a river to float them. You may want to try it in your bath tub. Get permission from your mom and dad first! Being curious is good, but not as much as George! You m
Mr. Dale is going to give us a step-by-step recording of How to Fold a Boat from Curious George. See if you can make it and share a photo in this link Activities from Montessori Blog
Happy Children’s Day! You can find out all about Children’s Day on Ms. Mimi’s Storytime Post today.

Hi everybody! I hope you enjoyed going on a bear hunt again! Today, I would like to share what I have been doing the past month. I have been challenging myself to exercise everyday and putting a cross on the days I finished my daily exercise. As you can see, I have been exercising everyday and I feel very healthy and strong!
Since it’s almost exactly a month till our last day of school, I thought it’ll be a good challenge to try and exercise everyday with everyone! It’s a 1 month exercise challenge!
Here are some May calendars you could print out to keep track of the day you did your exercise!
For this week and next week, we will do the following exercise:

Hi everybody! We have been dancing, exercising and calming ourselves with yoga for the past blog entries. We will continue with this for the next few weeks! Today is an exercising & workout day! We will be continuing with a 5 minutes workout 🙂
This time we are doing 40 seconds of…

-Running Punches
-Frog Jumps
-Squat and Turn
-Knees To Elbow Marching
You will have 20 seconds of rest time during these exercises. You may notice some moves are from songs and dances we have done in the past!
Make sure you have your water bottle near you so you can drink water when you need it. You will feel your heart beating very fast during this activity. Remember to breathe while you are exercising!
If 40 seconds feels too long, please adjust it to 20 seconds and 10 seconds of rest.
Please check this video to see how the exercise works!

Hello 5s and 6s!
For our second day of Flashy Feet Friday, we are doing a few moves from last time to warm up and then we are gonna learn about 3 new moves! Make sure to always be careful and keep your focus during your flashy feet practice so that you and/or others don’t get hurt.
Here is our activity list for today (click on each name to see a demo video with my stuffed friends)
Try these activities for about 30 seconds each and then take a quick rest before trying the next one.
Each Friday, I will be giving out moves that steadily become a little harder every time so that you can know if your feet are getting faster and stronger. These exercises also help us with our balance and coordination. I hope you enjoy moving and jumping!
We hope you enjoyed your P.E./Movement class for today. Continue eating well, washing your hands properly and EXERCISE!
If we were at school, yesterday would have been our annual Food Fair. Maybe some of you would have remembered it from last year, but for some, it would have been the first time. If you were at the Christmas Bazaar last November, it would have been a much bigger version, with many food booths, games and vendors selling many goods.
Our story today is about a peddler. A peddler is someone who comes around the neighborhood selling things. They could come on a bicycle, in a car or truck, pulling a cart, on foot, many many different ways. It might be different depending on the country too. Let’s see what this peddler does today in our story, Caps for Sale. Please enjoy!
Here are some questions you can answer or think about:
What is a peddler?
Have you ever seen a peddler?
Do you think you can balance all those caps on your head?
How many caps were there all together? How many of each and what colors?
What happened to the caps when the peddler woke up from his nap?
Can you watch again and pretend to be the peddler and then the monkeys?
Which cap do you think you would like to have?
Here are some activities for you to enjoy….
Coloring Worksheets ~
If you don’t have a printer, you can make your own peddler and then caps to place on his head. If you make your own peddler, you can make other things for him to sell. It could even be a girl peddler!
Can you walk with something on your head? You can find things to place on your head and see if you can balance it and walk around your room or your house. When you get good with one, try to put another and another.
Here are some examples of placing a book or a basket on your head. It’s actually a Montessori activity for Walking on the Line. You can try walking on a line while placing these objects on your head!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you enjoyed our zoom PE day today. Here is a home version of our workout wheel from earlier. I have already loaded it up with some exercises and moves you can do at home. If you want, you can invite other people in the house to join you and spin the wheel!
Apologies for forgetting to push the publish button for our P.E./Movement blog on Friday. I’m sure the 4-6 year olds had good Language Arts Zoom Room Meetings on Friday. Our week will start again tomorrow Perhaps a little exercise before that might start the week fit and healthy! (Ms. Sallie)

Hey everyone!
Today we will have Flashy Feet Fridays! On Flashy Feet Fridays, we will be doing activities to get our legs and feet, fast and strong. I have placed here some activities we can do to improve our lower body. You can do them as many times as you like and you can even ask others to do them with you. Soon enough, you will be able to do them quickly and develop strong and fast feet!
For this Friday’s Flashy Feet session, we will be reviewing how to do our bunny and star jumps and also get to know a few new moves!
Try to do each movement for about 30 seconds and then take a quick break to get ready for the next one! Repeat everything as many times as you want to get practice for those fast and flashy feet!
Today is our double P.E./Movement Day since we had our online P.E./Movement Class. It looked like everybody was having a good time working with Mr. Dale, Mr. Myk, Miss Yuri and the other teachers. Keep up the good work!!

Hi everyone! Today, I have 2 more sock ball activities for students (and parents) to play with!
The first one is a practice on catching from different angles. Learning how to catch things coming from different directions helps develop good reaction time and coordination too. Here is a video I made showing catching from different angles.
Don’t forget the catching tips we learned from before:
-catching hands ready
-eyes open, always looking at the ball
-don’t look away or close your eyes
For our second activity, we have a game of Knock the Shoe!
We are going to make targets from shoes and try to hit them with our sock balls. Here Is a video I made showing how to play the game. You can try throwing from different distances or use different sized targets or even do a locomotor movement before throwing! That’s going to be a fun challenge!
When playing, we should always be aware of where we are and where we are going to throw our sock balls so that we do not cause accidents or hurt or damage anything. Have fun and stay safe!
We hope you enjoyed your P.E./Movement class for today. Continue eating well, washing your hands properly and EXERCISE!
