Conversions and Measurements!

4K students have been learning about the customary and metric systems and practicing converting the units. As a preparation for their Chapter Review, we had five stations to practice what they had learned in this chapter.

Students used measuring tapes to measure certain objects to find the total length.

They played games to convert units.

Some students went over the elves’ inventory and calculated how much money was spent by calculating the length of materials they used to create toys.

They solved crossword puzzles by converting units.

Some had one-on-one sessions with the teacher to better understand how to solve real-world problems.

MAP Test:
Students completed their reading MAP test.

It took place in the Mac Lab, which must’ve been easier for some students with the big screen. Well done 4K! They will be taking another MAP test on math on Tuesday.
