Thinking about the 3Rs…

3Rs
Students have been learning about the importance of the 3Rs and how it helps sustain the environment for future generations.
Students also came up with their own ideas for recycling a product.

For example, we learned about the Mymizu app for reducing plastic pet bottles and Retter (produced by Greenbird) for recycling plastic wastes collected at beach clean-ups into coasters and toys.

They were all mindblown by the idea of reducing and recycling plastics and how much plastic waste we have.

The chairman of Greenbird kindly lent us the sample of plastic wastes that were found at the beach clean-up and how they are shredded into small pieces to another plastic product.

We decided to write a thank you letter to the chairman of Greenbird.

Informative Writing:
We had different stations with books of activists. As they read and explored other books, they decided on a figure they would like to research and read about.

Assembly:
Today some of our 4K students helped lead the Religion assembly.

Well done to these students for clearly reading the script and teaching us about religion.

Also, at the end of the assembly, the blue team and the blue team captain were awarded a trophy from the sports day. Once again, congratulations to the blue team, and good luck to the yellow, red, and green teams next year!
