Animal Museum / The Boston Tea Party

Animal Museum:
3G and 3M invited us to their annual animal museum in the auditorium.  3G students learned to do nonfiction research and synthesize information across texts. They showcased their learning at the Animal Museum. 4K students enjoyed learning about eight different animals through the exhibit.

We made thank you cards to 3M and 3G since we enjoyed their exhibition!

Boston Tea Party:
Students are now learning about the American Revolution and mainly concentrating on the Boston Tea Party.
While students learned about the frustration between the British and the American colonists, they were also able to associate some of the issues in Ukraine. It was impressive to see how some students could make connections with current world events and issues.

New IPC Unit: Climate Control
Students started our new unit with a gallery walk of various climate control and change-themed pictures. As they walked around to make close observations of each image, students thought about the message of each poster and took notes which they shared at the end of the period.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
