Welcome back & Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break, and you are all back feeling refreshed.

New Year’s Resolution/One Word Goal:
Our Semester two started with brainstorming our class goals by thinking about what we want to see “MORE” and “LESS” in 4K this year.
We all had post-its to think and write down our thoughts.

Then we decided to learn about the history of the resolution, and we came up with our own personal goal for this year.
They chose a word that will show/describe their goal and came up with specific action plans to achieve it.
Some of the examples we had were “Focus,” “Organization,” “Responsibility,” and more.
Throughout the semester, we will look at these goals to remind students to achieve the goal.

IPC:
Students researched a landform they had visited in the past and created a slide presentation. To start, I did a presentation on Niseko Annupuri, which is known as Hokkaido’s Mount. Fuji. After my presentation, several students presented the landforms they visited, such as Joshua Tree, Mount. Takao, Matterhorn and Hawaii.
They each included personal pictures and shared interesting facts about the landforms.

Please have a lovely weekend!
