Here we will be updating our learnings and growth throughout this school year!
Students started enjoying their first week getting to know one another, learning about the class, and understanding expectations at school.
They also had a chance to get photos taken at the photobooth organized by St.Maur parents!

We also celebrated all the August birthdays on their first day in 4th grade!
What a fun way to start our year! Thank you to all the students and parents who prepared some goodie bags for everyone!
We sang “Happy Birthday” and wrote messages on their birthday cards.
We had the “Me Museum” tour on Friday which is a great getting-to-know activity. Students brought in a few “artifacts” to display on their desks as a mini-museum. Students were all respectful and learned a lot about their classmates!
Their second week was their introduction week for each subject and learning about SMEOs (Saint Maur Essential Outcomes) which represents the dispositions we as a faculty and staff hope to instill in each of our students.
They worked on their self-portrait and SMEOs typography art.
Students used a photograph and along with a little help from our classroom windows (acting as a light table) their pictures were changed to a simple line drawing. Spaces were filled with ideas of how they could become
moral citizens, unique individuals, global citizens, balanced and life-long learners in the communities.
As you see all their work styles, lines and expression are unique!
