It’s Double P.E. / Movement Day! (5/12)

We are sorry for the technical problems we had this morning during our zoom class time.  New things happen but we model how we would like our children to be–problem solvers, risk takers and life-long learners.  We also like to show them that exercising is important and it is fun!!

Something on the calmer side for you today!

4 Year Olds (in Miss Yuri and Ms. Hoshi’s group)

Hi everyone!

Today we danced to a song that you are familiar with!

“I’m a Little Tea Pot.”

As I showed you during our zoom meeting, there are 5 main key movements;

-Tapping the floor with your toes,

-Squatting,

-Making a handle and spout,

-Squatting and tilting your head at the same time

-Bend your body to the side and balance.

Here is the video that shows you the movements!

Enjoy dancing!

5 Year Olds ~ Pre-First Graders (in Mr. Dale and Mr. Myk’s group)

Hi Everyone,

Here is a sheet for a Movement Scavenger Hunt that you can do at home! There are 8 activities you would need to accomplish to clear the whole sheet! Have fun looking for these items and doing your movements!

We hope you enjoyed your P.E./Movement class for today.  Continue eating well, washing your hands properly and EXERCISE!
