The Parent Support Group decided to commission a new logo and turned to our talented student body for their artistic inspiration. High school art students were invited to submit entries, and eleven 9th and 10th graders answered the call.
The entries were kept anonymous with the students’ names hidden. PSG selected three entries as finalists, and those three entries were presented to voters at the Christmas Bazaar in November. 81 votes were cast. Demi Kitani’s entry received the most votes, earning her the coveted prize: a Cougar Pride hoodie.
After the vote Demi worked with Saint Maur parent Jonas Teiler, Art Director at Sony Corporation. Demi and Jonas collaborated to finalize the beautiful logo.
