On the 12th of September, the Grade 12 students had the opportunity to play with the Grade 1’s. They were each paired up with one or two children, with whom they sat down and became friends. They then played games like “Duck Duck Goose” and “What time is it, Mr. Wolf?”, the instructions for which the Grade 1’s were kind enough to explain to the seniors.
“I didn’t expect it to be so much fun,” One 12th grader said.
“It reminded me of when my brother used to be younger, when I would play with him all the time”, said another student.
For many of the games they played, the seniors had to crouch down to reach the heights of their younger friends.
The next day, Grade 12’s received a heartwarming video from the Grade 1’s, where they shouted, “Thank you, seniors, we had fun!”
