A full month of school has already\u00a0finished and Ms. Sallie and Ms. Barbara\u2019s Class has been working hard with many different activities in the classroom.\u00a0 There are 5 areas in a Montessori classroom:\u00a0 Practical Life (Activities of Daily Living), Sensorial, Math, Language and Cultural.\u00a0 Children go around the classroom choosing their own work which they have been\u00a0presented (lessons), sometimes needing a little encouragement.\u00a0 We have been talking about doing challenging work with good concentration.\u00a0 Even though it is still early in the school year, most children surprise us with what they choose and are interested in doing.\u00a0 We would like you to take a peek at what the goes on during our work time\u2014a little of everything\u2026!<\/p>\n

*PRACTICAL LIFE:<\/p>\n
