“Today in the town of David,\u00a0a Savior has been born to you; <\/span>he is the Messiah, the Lord.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The children had a busy and\u00a0exciting month of December. \u00a0They practiced for the combined\u00a0Montessori, Elementary and French School concert that began\u00a0at\u00a06 in the evening on Dec. 9th, Friday. \u00a0The Montessori children opened the program\u00a0on the stage of the Saint Maur Fine Arts auditorium, singing \u00a0“Mary’s Little Boy Child” and “Jingle Bell Rock” in front of a full house,\u00a0gaining valuable experience while sharing the joy of Chirstmas.<\/p>\n

\"OLYMPUS<\/a>On the last week, Mr. Agnew, the school’s religion teacher, invited our\u00a0children to the Chapel to share the Christmas story.<\/p>\n

The children\u00a0also enjoyed a pizza luncheon.<\/p>\n

\"img_2667\"<\/a> Christmas craft-making was also a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

For this season of gift-giving, as when the three kings\u00a0brought incense, Frankincense and myrrh\u00a0to baby Jesus, the children learned \u00a0how to\u00a0give cards and presents, how to receive them, and what to say to each other in the exchange of gifts and written Season’s Greetings. \u00a0They also discovered how to hold the present with both\u00a0hands, practiced looking into the person\u2019s eyes, and express simple phrases such as \u201cMerry Christmas. This is for you\u201d and \u201cThank you, (actual name). Merry Christmas\u201d\u2014all with a smile.<\/p>\n
