4K students have been learning about the customary and metric systems and practicing converting the units. As a preparation for their Chapter Review, we had five stations to practice what they had learned in this chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students used measuring tapes to measure certain objects to find the total length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They played games to convert units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Some students went over the elves’ inventory and calculated how much money was spent by calculating the length of materials they used to create toys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They solved crossword puzzles by converting units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some had one-on-one sessions with the teacher to better understand how to solve real-world problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAP Test:<\/strong>
Students completed their reading MAP test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took place in the Mac Lab, which must’ve been easier for some students with the big screen.\u00a0Well done 4K! They will be taking another MAP test on math on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
