Grade 4 Parents,
Wow, where has all the time gone? This semester has flown by! We are down to the last two weeks before Christmas holiday.
Today we are especially excited to share in our Christmas performance, we look forward to seeing you in the auditorium at 6pm.
We would like to inform you of upcoming events.
Please view our Spirit Week Calendar from December 11 to December 14. Students get to choose their costumes throughout the week based on the themes: Elementary Spirit Week Calendar. Your child will share the class theme with you for Tuesday.
Please be aware that students must come to school in winter uniform and can change into costume before the 8:10 bell.
We are excited to select our Secret Santa names today. The maximum cost of the gift is 500 yen. We will exchange these gifts on Wednesday, December 13th during our
Grade 4 Christmas party.
On December 13th, there will NOT be a potluck, class moms are kindly bringing in ice cream for a make your own sundae party.
We request each student to bring one ice cream topping to share.
This will also be an opportunity for our class students to say a formal goodbye to leaving students. If parents would also like to also come and say goodbye and take photos, we invite you from 3:00pm till the end of the school day.
Christmas and New Year Holiday
Please be mindful that Thursday December 14th is the last day of school and classes resume January 8th. We are looking forward to an author’s visit with Adam Gidwitz in our second week back to school.
We hope Santa will bring some nice books for your children to read over the holiday. Be safe and happy!
Seasons greetings ,
Your Grade 4 Teachers,
Sharon and JoAnna
